Description

2010 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Romanee Conti was another spectacular burgundy made by the very famous producer.  Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Romanee Conti is one of the worlds most expensive bottles of burgundy and is one of the worlds most sough after wines.

The appellation Romanee-Conti is only 4.5 acres in size, about 190 metres across and was planted way back in the 17th century.  It is one of the smallest appellations in France.  It’s neighbours include Richebourg, La Romanee, Romanee Saint Vivant and La Tache. It’s fair to say those vineyards are in good company.

The bottle on offer is from the 2010 vintage which was rated slightly better than the previous 2009 vintage by Robert Parker.  The 2010 DRC Romanee Conti has been awarded a swag of 97 and 98 points by leading wine critics including Robert Parker, Jeannie Cho Lee and Antonia Galloni.

This bottle of 2010 DRC Romanee Conti was purchased from a very reputable wine company in Australia.  This bottle was placed into climate control storage in Sydney, Australia immediately after purchase and remains there.  It has not left the climate control storage and the current owner is the only person who has owned this bottle.  It is in immaculate condition.
